Climbers for gardens

Planting climbers often requires gentle care from their canes, planted at an angle, and tied into new support system. In most time, you may plant climbers against the wall, you will need to be caution because the soil is more likely dry, which pulls in the moisture from the surrounding soil. The wall can store the heat and then release to surrounding, sometime it could be  good to some plants but sometime it could be too much. Plants grwoing in dry situation tend to be more susceptible to powdery mildew infection. To avoid the situation, do not use mildew-prone plants, such as honeysuckles and some of the roses.

Climbers are often wrapped up with mesh or attached to a framework. It is easier to remove this before you get the plant into the ground. Make sure you spread out the existing growth. The young shoots should be attached to the support using foam-covered wire, or soft twine. Be cautious when tying the young shoots because they are tender and easily damager.

Some climbers are for sale on eBay.
