It is very time consuming to maintain your patio. But the good news is you don’t have to do that evey week or even every month. You probably only need to do it once a year. There are a few things to keep your patio clean.

 

Always remove soil, compost, and fallen leaves and flowers away from the deck. Such items will create potential seedbed for weeds if accumulate on a pebble or gravel surface.

If you need to replace slabs, you can lay a broom handle or a piece of copper water pipe across the space you need to fill. Then you can replace one end of the new slab into the space and the support will let you to ease the slab down into position.

 

Regular vacuum can keep pebble or gravel surfaces clear of leaves and faded flowers. Also regular treatment with a wood preservative is very helpful.
